Christmas cards and advent calendars go on sale at St Michael & All Angels, Bedford Park, this week. The Cards for Good Causes shop inside the church on Bath Road will open at 1pm on Wednesday November 6th, raising money for more than 30 charities which produce cards for sale.

St Michaels’ own Christmas card will also be on sale. This year it’s a stylised image of the church in the snow, painted by Nigel Woolner, president of the Bedford Park Society, and reproduced by popular demand.

The shop is open from Wednesday November 6th until Saturday December 14th. The opening hours are 11am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday (except on Wednesdays, when it opens at 1pm after Mass, or when there are special services).

The shop will also be selling the 2014 Chiswick Calendar, produced by local photographers Ian Wylie and Jon Perry, with profits going to St Michaels’ Organ and Parish Rooms Appeal. There are two sizes – A4 costing £12, and a larger display for £20.

It is also possible to buy the Chiswick Calendar online from the St Michaels’ website: http://www.smaaa.org.uk/worship/ChiswickCalendar2014.html
