Students from Chiswick Stagecoach Performing Arts School were part of the team which won a BAFTA at the Academy's Children's Awards for a film on the theme on social media and young people.

Everyone at 'Stagecoach Performing Arts Chiswick' is incredibly proud of students, Kat, Josh, Claire and Ella, who were cast in Truetube’s short film, ‘Like Me’.

Stagecoach announced at the end of October that the short film had been nominated for BAFTA for Drama, at the British Academy Children’s Awards 2017 and they are even more delighted to announce that ‘Like Me’ was the winner!

It even beat Jacqueline Wilson's CBBC adaption of the wonderful 'Hetty Feather'. All 4 students are shown in the clip which went live at the ceremony.

Stagecoach Chiswick Principal Sally Catlin would like to say a huge ‘congratulations’ to everyone involved in this brilliant piece, all about the consequences of social media. To see the winning moment, click here: https://goo.gl/2tLJV3.
