Patrick Monahan 'Standing Up' For Labour

Comedy star in Chiswick fundraiser

Comedian Patrick Monahan, who recently appeared on ITV's 'Splash!', somersaulting from the 10 metre board, is to appear in the latest in a series of comedy nights organised by Chiswick Homefield Labour candidate Crispin Flintoff.

 Monahan, who won a telephone vote in the x-factoresque 'Show me the Funny' two years ago, has known Flintoff since they appeared in comedy gigs nearly ten years ago and will be appearing at Stand up for Labour on Sunday 16 March at the George IV in Chiswick High Road.

 Other acts on the bill include former Perrier Award winner Nick Revell and musical double act Ginger and Black. Speaking on the night will be Sadiq Khan MP, the shadow minister for London and Ruth Cadbury, Labour’s Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Brentford & Isleworth.
