St Michael's Church, Elmwood Road, Chiswick need volunteers to help man the night shelter for homeless men in Hounslow on Saturday nights and Sunday mornings in February and March.

The shelter provides hot food and warm beds throughout the coldest months of the year and is operated by a number of different churches in the borough. It has been running for 3 years now and has successfully provided a much needed service in our community. This is the second year that St. Michael's, Elmwood Road has been involved.

"A few volunteers to help out with the experienced team would be so welcome and, best of all, you get to make and keep an essential resolution - to help others in 2014", said a representative of St Michael's."The reward for helping others is endless and this is a one off chance for people to help someone in need right at the start of the New Year."

No skills needed - apart from things like tea making and general setting up of tables and beds.
