Children at Strand on the Green Infant & Nursery School celebrated the Queens 90th Birthday on Wednesday 8th June.

Children joyfully sang songs at a whole school Assembly such as Rule Britannia, God Save the Queen, Dancing Queen and Stevie Wonder’s Happy Birthday.

They also raised the Union Flag.

Their very own Queen Wendy arrived and sat on her throne whilst every class sang Happy Birthday and presented her with cakes designed especially for her. All of this was followed by a wonderful picnic on the field.
