Tony Inwood, “The Chiswick Poet”, has created a new website called newtube, which is an innovative way to read poetry on the move. newtube is a collection of his diverse poetry in an easily accessible form, which can be read on a journey, in a doctor’s waiting room or in any of those idle moments that we all seem to encounter daily.

The mobile-friendly website will offer entertainment in a stimulating and humorous way, wherever you are! http://www.new-tube.org/

Tony has been writing poetry for many years and has lived and worked in Chiswick for over 45 years. Now retired, he says he is spending much more of his time writing. He has a book of his poems for sale on Amazon, “A Day at the Zoo” priced £6.96. He is currently writing a children’s story and is redeveloping a play (that was staged some years ago in Christ Church, Turnham Green), which presents Jesus Christ in a contemporary light.

He also has some of his poems displayed on the wall of L’Art Café in the Chiswick High Road (next to London Auctions). Sandra Saxinger, the Manager of the Café, and Tony, have created an artistic wall of creative prose.

Apart from Tony’s poems there are pieces on the current music scene and they have plans to develop this further by including a series on women’s issues, articles on “Rock & Roll” and more.
