A woman has died this morning at around 9am after being hit by a car on Chiswick Lane.
A London Ambulance Service (LAS) spokeswoman said, "Despite extensive efforts to resuscitate the patient she was pronounced dead at the scene,"
The woman who has been described as 'elderly' has yet to be named.
Chiswick Lane is likely to be closed for much of the day (25th November) following the incident which took place near Dorchester Grove.
A London Air Ambulance helicopter landed on Homefield Park to assist.
Chiswick Lane and Dorchester Grove are currently closed and there are tailbacks on the A4 westbound near Hogarth Roundabout.
