The Friends of Turnham Green would love volunteers to come help them plant the rockery
on Thursday April 24th and Friday 25th from 2-6pm.

Bring a trowel and/or fork plus gardening gloves if you have them.

The organiser say even 20 minutes of your time would be a help. If you think you can come, drop them a line to help guage potential numbers.

Apart from the wildflower meadow, and other activities, the Friends have been working closely with the parents of Tommy Hollis to design a memorial garden on the Green.

Turnham Green is also home to Christ Church, the magnificent church designed by George Gilbert Scott, who designed the Albert Memorial. It also contains the Chiswick War Memorial - the Green provides a relaxing space for local people and is particularly popular in sunny weather.
