Canon Andrew White, who is known as the 'Vicar Of Baghdad' for pastoring the congregation of St George's in the Iraqi city, will visit Chiswick this Sunday.

The Canon featured on an ITV documentary by Rageh Omaar which focused on his ministry in the midst of the chaos of Baghdad. He has a passionate love for the Iraq people and is deeply loved by his 1500 strong congregation.

"Three or four hundred of my congregation have been killed and eleven of my church council abducted". The Times, Feb 2010.

Andrew White is also the President of FRRME, a non-profit organisation dedicated to finding peaceful solutions to conflicts in the Middle East, prompting peace and reconciliation.
