Juniors At Tideway Scullers To Compete Abroad

Five selected for GB team at prestigious events

Five Juniors from Chiswick’s Tideway Scullers School have been selected to join squads of Great Britain’s best young rowers for the World Rowing Junior Championships in Hamburg, Germany, and the Coupe de la Jeunesse in Libourne, France.

Ben Brophy and Oliver Jones

Saskia Budgett, Susannah Duncan and Oliver Jonas will compete at the World Juniors in Hamburg from 6-10 August.

Ben Brophy and Kaan Belton will join the GB squad to compete at the Coupe which takes place from 1-3 August in Libourne.

For Saskia, Oliver and Ben, this will be the second time they have represented GB in their chosen sport, a fantastic achievement for the 17 year olds and a testament to the quality of coaching at TSS.
