The windows of The Devonshire remain boarded up and a large 'For Sale' sign hangs overhead. It's not a good advertisement for Ramsay's empire which received another blow when his father-in-law and former business partner Chris Hutcheson put The Warrington pub up for sale leaving only the Narrow in Lime House left in the company's portfolio.

According to industry press, Hutcheson out the freehold of the Warrington up for sale at an asking price of £5.5m. Specialist agent Restaurant Property are now marketing both pubs.

The Devonshire closed last year. It was amongst six of Ramsay's restaurants that accumulated a hefty £4.3million loss for the celebrity chef.

Opened by then Chiswick resident Mark Sargeant on behalf of Ramsay, The Devonshire closed after three years as it was "failing to meet the expectations of Gordon Ramsay and business partner Chris Hutcheson".
