A planning application has recently been lodged with Hounslow Council's planning department to turn the former Japanese restaurant Chisou into flats.

Chisou in Barley Mow Passage

The proposal is to change the building into three self-contained dwellings. The application calls for the erection of a roof extension and first-floor extension with staircases to form a maisonette at second and third floor levels.

Chisou, in Barley Mow Passage, closed in November 2014. The upmarket restaurant and sake bar opened three years ago on the site of the former Chakalaka premises.

It has been lying vacant since the closure.
