Managing Director of The Hogarth Group of Health Clubs, Dan White, was this week presented with gold medal and the title “British Duathlon Champion 2007” (45-49 years).

The Dualthlon event comprised of a gruelling 12 k run, 40k bike and 4k run to finish over the Derbyshire Dales.

Having left the Army to run the family business in 2004, Dan took up Duathlons from scratch just over 2 years ago. With the added advantage of working alongside industry specialsits including Mark Green (London Physio), Cherie Duir (Massage through Synergy Touch) Julian Nagi (Park Club Personal Trainer), Dan has certainly had every opportunity to succeed.

The Hogarth Group is a family run business established in 1959, when its chairman first became principle of his own firm or Chartered Surveyors, specialising in health, leisure and sports developments. As Group Managing Director, Dan now heads up the operations of the Clubs which include, Lambton Place, The Hogarth Health Club and The Park Club.

The Hogarth Club in Chiswick which opened in 1981 has much of the intimacy of its Notting Hill sister but as it is developed along country club lines has the attraction of a sunny terrace where you can enjoy the benefits of the delicious bar and restaurant. There is also two tennis courts, squash court, swimming pool and wide ranging therapy and beauty department.

By far the largest Club and the newest addition to the trio is the Park Club in East Acton which opened in January 2000. The clubs membership was fully subscribed in its first year of operation as it provides a broader range of services providing for all the needs of the modern family. Set in 27 acres of park land, it is beautifully green and spacious with a gorgeous outdoor pool, football pitch, tennis courts and cricket pitch. It is a second home to many families who can de- camp here for the whole day and enjoy outside dining and relaxation- and of course a little exercise too!
