Local vinyl cafe Rhythm & Brews, was shortlisted in the top four coffee shops in London, for the Harden's London Restaurants awards 2019.

The cafe on Arlington Corner is the brainchild of Ann Khoshaba who ran the Cinnamon Cafe in Pitshanger Lane, Ealing for six years.

It opened in Chiswick four years ago on the site of a former pharmacy, and has proven itself to be a 'Long Player' for the area.

The music is all from old vinyl records played on an old fashioned record player and you can take your own in if you want. They also serve snacks, cakes and drinks.

The interior features stripped back bare walls and all the tables are made from reclaimed wood, -there are benches which started life as railway sleepers. The coffee is top ranking Union Coffee and the English Breakfast Teas won a 'great taste award'. As well as the usual selection of panini and croissants, they also sell homemade cakes.

Others included in the top four in that category included: Dropshot Coffee, (Southfields) TabXTab (Westbourne Grove) , and The Watch House SE1 (Bermondsey). TabXTab was the overall winner.

Over 7,500 people contributed 50,000 nominations within all the categories this year.
