Crown and Anchor's upstairs dining room opens this week with an unmissable offer
Chiswick’s popular neighbourhood pub, The Crown & Anchor, has now opened up its upstairs room with unrivalled views over Turnham Green, to create a new dining room with its own special menu.
Head Chef, Vicky Ghunowa, formerly of London’s Mayfair Hotel and Le Saint Geran in Mauritius, blends seasonal British flavours with ocean influences for the best that surf and turf have to offer.
The dining room’s produce is responsibly and locally sourced, with seafood from sustainable stocks. The tempting starters include Pan-Fried South Coast Mackerel with Minted Greek Yoghurt, Guacamole, Pickled Cucumber & Roasted Balsamic Beetroot (£6.95), Roasted Breast & Confit Leg of Quail with Shallot & Apple Purée (£5.95) and a Salad of Raw & Pickled Winter Vegetables with Toasted Seasonal Seeds & Fresh Herb Garnish (£4.50).
Succulent main courses range from Homemade Burger with Thick Cut Chips (£9.50) to Monkfish King Prawn Thai Curry with Pilaf Rice (£12.50), Macken’s Sirloin Steak with Homemade Chips, Anchovy Butter & Mixed Leaf Salad (£16.50) and Poached Baby Chicken with Crispy Bacon & Ratatouille (£11). There’s a luxury treat for meat lovers to share too - Dedham Vale Côte de Boeuf with Thick Cut Chips, Mixed Leaf Salad & Red Wine Jus (£37.50 for two).
Desserts are all classic favourites, including Crème Brulée (£4), Sticky Toffee Pudding with Custard (£4.50) and Raspberry & White Chocolate Cheesecake (£4.50).

Upstairs at The Crown & Anchor will open nightly from Thursday 24th November and is available for private parties for both lunch and dinner. The dining room seats 34.
