Gordon Ramsay is in talks with the owner of The Devonshire House Peter Reffell.

A spokesperson for the celebrity chef confirmed his interest but stated that "negotiations are at present ongoing."

Ramsay opened his first pub, The Narrow in Limehouse, in March this year. Located in a Grade II-listed building on the banks of the Thames, The Narrow serves "classic British dishes in a relaxed environment".

Ramsay's second pub, The Warrington, for which he paid an estimated £5.2 million for the freehold, will open in Maida Vale in the Autumn.

Now with these two ventures almost in the bag, multi Michelin starred Ramsay is treading the well worn path West to find new premises in W4.
