MasterChef 2008 winner, James Nathan will be cooking up a storm in a special evening at Bianco Nero

The winner of the highly popular BBC TWO series is devising a three-course menu including his winning chocolate desert at the Hammersmith restaurant on November 27th.

James, who beat Jonny Stevenson and Emily in the final in March this year has been working in many famous eateries since being crowned winner, including Le Gavroche with Michel Roux Jr, The Vineyard with John Campbell, Gidleigh Park with Michael Caines and is currently working at Bentleys in Piccadilly.

James said: “Life has been a whirlwind since winning MasterChef and I have been lucky enough to work with some fantastic chefs. Since I started working at Bentleys a few months ago, Chiswick has been my home and I’m delighted to be cooking somewhere local – particularly with Bianco Nero’s chef Aron Johnson.

“I still have an enormous amount to learn but I hope that people who enjoyed MasterChef will come and taste what I’ve learnt so far – and my winning chocolate desert!”

The event is the latest in a line-up of Autumn celebrations at this relatively new and high acclaimed Italian restaurant. Owner, Claire Derry also has planned wine tasting evenings, a Truffle Evening and a Tuscan evening with master of wine and celebrity author Rosemary George.

She said: “MasterChef is such a hugely popular programme and we are delighted that James is able to share what he’s learnt with us. He will be bringing his own influences to our classic Italian dishes. It’s a must for any MasterChef fan.”

Bianco Nero opened in October 2007 by Claire Derry and Tim Etchells.
