Tim Henman was on hand to launch Dukes Meadows Golf & Tennis Open Weekend on Friday 18th March.

The former world no.4 tennis player coached a class from Strand on the Green School before taking part in a Comic Relief challenge with Grand Slam winner Jo Durie.

Owned by French Connection founder, Stephen Marks, Dukes Meadows is situated by Chiswick Bridge combining world class coaching and playing facilities with an ethos of zero exclusion.

It is not a club, there are no members or a committee; only opportunity for everybody across all levels of ability.

It also is the venue for fc** Tennis Academy and the coaching team of Alan Jones, David Felgate, Jo Durie and James Lenton. fc** Tennis has helped develop the likes of James Ward (recent GB Davis Cup team), Anne Keothavong, Elena Baltacha and Laura Robson. Alan Jones alone has coached 29 players to play at Wimbledon.
