George's Diner, the restaurant on the corner of Prebend Gardens and Chiswick High Road, has closed.

George's Diner

The restaurant opened last September, replacing the former Nova which had closed suddenly after a short time.

It became George's Diner, and chef George introduced influences from his time growing up in Mauritius to the mainly seafood menu. The restaurant also had a small fishmonger area open to the public.

The location has seen a succession of short-lived ventures. Prior to Nova opening there it was the 1820 bar.

While their website says 'George's Diner is temporarily closed, whilst we undergo refurbishment' we have been told that it is closed for good, and that the owners will take a break and consider future options.
