The new Co Op store in Grove Park has opened.(January 11th 2019) in a one million pound investment by the company.

The store's opening hours will be open from 7 am-11 pm. The new store will provide 18 full and part time jobs and sell fresh meats and fish, fruit and vegetables, meal ideas, ready-to-go hot food, household essentials along with an in-store bakery, cash machine and self-scan tills. This is the second new Co Op opening in Chiswick- last year a similar store opened in Gunnersbury, close to Chiswick Park.

The store will also be part of Co-op’s Membership scheme – members receive a 5% reward on the purchase of own-brand products and services, with the option to swipe their membership card when they shop, raising funds for organisations which contribute to local life. Students with an NUS card receive a 10 per cent discount.

Muhammad Rahman, Co-op area manager said: “We are delighted to have undertaken such a significant investment in Chiswick and are very proud to be part of this community. The Co-op is moving forward with a clear purpose and momentum, and our ambition is to ensure the store is a local hub for people living in the area.
