The Grove Park Tandoori, at Station Parade, which closed some time ago, may become part of a new Co-operative convenience store. There are plans to expand the current corner shop and post office into the former restaurant next door to open a larger grocery store.

A planning application has been lodged with Hounslow Council requesting the erection of a single storey rear extension to both nos 5 and 6 Station Parade following amalgamation of both units, together with a new shopfront.

The two shops involved are the former Indian restaurant, at number 5, and the current post-office and shop on the corner which is number 6. It is not known if this would mean the end of the post office service currently part of the grocery store.

It is proposed (subject to agreement) that the core Co-op deliveries are timed to be undertaken avoiding peak hours (10am – 4pm) in order to ensure there is minimal conflict and disruption with nearby residents. The shorter stay deliveries for newspapers, magazines, sandwiches and bread will occur early morning prior to the morning network peak hour.
