Chiswick Moran Hotel launches Valentine's Romance Package
The four-star deluxe, Chiswick Moran Hotel has launched a “Valentine’s Romance Package” for love birds planning a romantic getaway on a weekend either side of Valentine’s Day.
Couples can spend a romantic night at the retro-chic West London hotel, enjoy a four-course dinner at the hotel’s excellent restaurant and share a bottle of champagne in their stylish room from just £218.00 for two people.
The “Valentine’s Romance Package” package, which is available on Friday 10, Saturday 11, Sunday 12, Friday 17, Saturday 18 or Sunday 19 February 2012, includes overnight accommodation at the Chiswick Moran Hotel, based on two people sharing a room, a four-course dinner for two at Napa, a bottle of champagne and platter of fruit on arrival and a full Irish breakfast.
The four-course sumptuous meal at the hotel’s destination restaurant, Napa, is also available for diners who wish to book a table without a hotel stay. The “Valentines Menu” is available on 14 February, as well as the weekends before and after Valentine’s Day.
For just £39.50 per person, guests can choose from four starters, followed by a cosmopolitan granite, then a choice of four mains and four deserts. The starters are a roast red pepper and plum tomato soup, fresh Dorset crab with spiced avocado and fresh tomato dressing, three baked Irish rock oyster’s with baby spinach and hollandaise or a carpaccio of beef, rocket & parmesan.
For the main course, diners can choose from corn-fed chicken breast with goat’s cheese and rosemary dauphinoise, baked cod fillet with crushed herb new potatoes, tomato and mussel buerre Blanc, braised lamb shank with champ mash and roasted baby beetroot. The vegetarian option is aubergine, spinach & ricotta cannelloni.
There are three individual desserts, so diners can enjoy baked chocolate fondant with sauce anglaise, vanilla panna cotta with strawberry compote or cropwell bishop stilton cheese. There is also a larger dessert to share, a delectable chocolate fondue with marshmallows, strawberries and pastries.
With a contemporary green and floral design, Napa has vintage image walls and raised booths. Head Chef Wayne Dixon, formerly of Quaglinos and Bush Bar & Grill, specialises in creating modern British cuisine with a twist.
