Vote in the Chiswick Restaurant Poll

Sam’s Bar & Brasserie has received a coveted nomination for the 2008 London Restaurant Awards joining a highly reputable line-up from across the capital.

The Chiswick brasserie has been nominated in The Evening Standard sponsored award '60 under £60' for which a panel of judges has compiled a list of local, independently owned restaurants where two people can comfortably eat two courses each and share a bottle of house wine for £60 or under. This shortlist shows a real commitment to value for money without compromising quality.

Public voting will take place for five weeks, starting on Wednesday 25th June after which a shortlist will be announced. The Panel of Judges will then select a winner, which will be announced on September 1.

Award judge, Charles Campion, said, “Given the calibre of nominees, the London Restaurant Awards will be a highly contested competition this year. As a judge, it’s an incredibly daunting task to choose the city’s best from such an amazing selection.”

2008 will mark the 10th London Restaurant Awards and will be judged by some of the UK’s most respected and well-known critics, selecting the best dining experiences from 18 categories.

The winners will be announced on 1st September at Grosvenor House, Park Lane and will be shown on ITV1 on Thursday 4 September.
