Vote in the Chiswick Restaurant Poll

The Devonshire Road restaurant has won this year's Best Local Restaurant award pipping other eateries such as Maquis in Hammersmith.

Time Out heaped praise on the restaurant saying, "This sleek assured Chiswick Restaurant all but purrs with well-placed confidence. Chef Ollie Couillaud has made a seemingly effortless transition into the big league."

They added "never mind 'best local', La Trompette more than holds its own with anything W1 can offer.

Although the award pales in comparison with the honour of consistently topping the poll on ChiswickW4.com the restaurant's manager Chris Yates was reported to be "delighted".

Nearly half of the people in our poll, which has seen over 600 votes since inception, have included it as their favourite restaurant in Chiswick despite the pricey menu and difficulty in getting a table. However recently some have suggested that complacency is setting in with one regular diner commenting, "Over the last year I have seen prices go up and standards go down. It is still the best restaurant in Chiswick but whether it is truly in a league of its own is open to question."
