Since the closure of Sam's Brasserie and Bar in Chiswick, Sam Harrison has been living in the Cotswolds.

But the lure of London proved too strong and now Sam is back in town, and planning a new project, possibly a bar. Though it is unlikely to be in Chiswick as he says rents are still too high.

"It’s very early days, but I’m looking at a couple of very exciting new sites in West/ South West London-landlords have approached me- but I can't say where.

"Cotswolds was great and I looked at a few pub/ hotels out there to buy, but nothing was right. I also did some consultancy work for others out there and in London."

Now living in Parsons Green in south-west London, Sam says he feels ready to go again with a project of his own, but only on the right site and the right deal.
