Ex Stone Roses front man Ian Brown has announced his sponsorship of local football team Chiswick Homefields FC for the 2005/2006 season.

A staunch supporter of grass roots football, the singer has signed a sponsorship deal with the talented amateur team who play in Division One of the London Commercial Division. 

Chiswick Homefields FC has been promoted on six consecutive seasons from their formation and are about to start their first season in the league’s top division.

The team's natty navy kit has been given the Ian Brown treatment and is now emblazoned with ‘IB – The Greatest’ to promote Brown’s forthcoming album of the same name. 

The stylish strip will no doubt become the envy of all Chiswick Homefields FC and Ian Brown fans alike!
