With five games to go in Division 2A of the Morrant Thames Valley League, Chiswick and Latymer have only a two point lead over their nearest rivals, after a 5 wicket win against Falkland at Whitton Park. The Chiswick bowlers did well to restrict Falkland to 267-8, on a pitch where scores over 300 have been par all season. A good team effort with the bat, lead by Paul Davis with 83 saw the home team safely home, with two overs to spare.

Chiswick and Latymer 2nd XI lost at Thatcham Town, Ian Cottingham scoring 83 not out for the home team as the won by 7 wickets. Chiswick 3rd XI moved up to 3rd place in their division with a narrow victory over Hampton Hill at Chiswick Park. Jay Dhillon top scored with 58, while leg spinner Jiji Singh took 6-47 to go with his valuable 40 runs. The 4th XI lost to Kidmore End, despite a fine 80 from Trevor Woolley.

Division 3B: Chiswick & Latymer 2nd XI 212 Thatcham Town 2nd XI 215-3 (Ian Cottingham 83*) Thatcham win by 7 wickets

Division 5B: Chiswick & Latymer 3rd XI 196 (Jay Dhillon 58) Hampton Hill 2nd XI 192 (Ajmal Bhatt 50, Jiji Singh 6-47) Chiswick win by 4 runs

Division 6B: Chiswick & Latymer 4th XI 247-6 (Trevor Woolley 80) Kidmore End 3rd XI 248-8. Kidmore win by 2 wickets
