The Tabard Pilgrims, a family friendly cricket club based at the Tabard public house on the Bath Road in Chiswick, has begun a recruitment drive for new players of all ages and abilities to join its fun-filled ranks for the new season.

Founded in 1996 and celebrating its 20 th anniversary last year, the Tabard Pilgrims is a Sunday afternoon team that plays all of its fixtures “away” at some of the most idyllic and picturesque cricket grounds in and around London and the Home Counties.

Featuring a mixture of age groups from 17 to (almost) 70 with a vast of range of abilities, the motto of the Pilgrims is try to win but have fun doing so. And now they are looking to swell their ranks.

Be it players that have never picked up a cricket bat or ball but have always wanted to play, to those that used to play but perhaps no longer have a club to play for and want to start up again. Plus there is no commitment to play every match in a season. If you are only available for a handful of games per season, no problem. Play as many or as few as you want.!

So, if you would like to join their merry band of players at what they describe as Chiswick's happiest club, or just find out a bit more about them, check out their website.
