PHC Chiswick travelled to Wallingford knowing a win would go along way in securing the title and gaining promotion. Chiswick started strongly and controlled much of the game but didn't take advantage of the numerous chances and short corners that fell their way until the 18th minute when Ashley Holman fired in a low shot from the edge of the circle.

A number of yellow cards were handed out to the Wallingford team for dubious challenges but Chiswick failed to take advantage and conceded a weak goal when they allowed the Wallingford forward to shoot unchallenged. This sparked Chiswick into action and following a goal mouth scramble Holman scored his second of the game to put Chiswick 2-1 up at half time.

The Wallingford goal gave a warning to Chiswick that they needed to step up their game and it wasn't long before good work from Holman down the left dispossessed the Wallingford defence and Dan Hall finished off the move to put Chiswick 3-1 up. PHC continued to press forward and the 4th goal came when Nick Barack slotted home a rebound after another Holman shot.

The 6th goal was scored by Dharmesh Puna following a well worked short corner and the 6th goal is a contender for goal of the season when Nick Barack lobbed the keeper from the edge of the circle.

This was an important result for Chiswick and keeps them top of the league with two games to go. Chiswick host Slough next week in what will be a tough game knowing a win will secure the title and give them promotion.
