The England Hockey Board (EHB) is looking to recruit urgently an extra six arena access stewards to join the Hockey Volunteers Team the London Cup 2011 Four Nations Hockey Tournament in Chiswick on Friday afternoon / evening and Saturday afternoon / evening.

The organisers were expecting the Metropolitan Police Cadets to help out at the event but they had to withdraw at the last moment.

The inaugural London Cup, which is taking place in Chiswick between July 12th and July 16th, involves matches between the host nation, New Zealand, South Korea and Belgium.

England Hockey intends to use the competition as a test event for the Olympic Games, giving the squad a chance to prepare and boosting the profile of the sport in the run-up to London 2012.
