Old Meadonians want to attract fit ladies

Local football club looking to set up women's team

Following the successes of last season OMFC would like to have a Ladies section at the Club. Full use of all the facilities at the football clubs disposal is offered. Seven pitches managed and maintained by ourselves, changing facilities in The Boathouse at Riverside Lands, hospitality at The Riverside Club, Burlington Lane/Staveley Road (behind the four tennis courts), all kit supplied and the possibility of enthusiastic coaching by qualified members.

If you would like to join, or are able to bring a team in, in the first instance go to the club's web site for background information and details of contacts.

It is proposed to have a youth section and mini soccer sections in the future and the Club will publish details of these at a later date.

If you feel you would like to be a member of this progressive and friendly club why not get in touch with chairman David Tyler on OMFCSlipper@aol.com or visit their website www.omfc.co.uk
