Sports in Chiswick

Chiswick Rugby Club’s Minis section, where boys and girl aged four to twelve years old get trained in team based skills and drills every Sunday in Chiswick, starts again on Sunday the 4th of January.

Based at Chiswick Rugby club’s ground by the Thames on Dan Mason Drive, W4 2SH, the sessions have steadily grown in popularity and up to seventy children turn up every Sunday, practising outdoors from 10.30am to 12pm.

Unusually, most coaches are current first team players and as well as having great enthusiasm for sport and fitness, volunteer to coach because the enjoy passing on their knowledge and seeing children develop into teams that play other local team both home and away.

Typical sessions include fitness, team drills then application. Sessions are pitched so all attending are comfortable.

To join, parents can turn up with children on the day or call 07706 356422.
