Will to Win lift Middlesex Cup

Local tennis team continue their successful season

Chiswick based Will to Win won the Division 4 Middlesex Cup this weekend with a 5-4 victory over Conway from Palmers Green

The match was played in blazing heat over 5 hours at the Chiswick House Grounds venue. The strong first pair of Steve Riley and Christian Gallan were comfortable in winning all three matches. The match was decided by a very tight tie break eventually won 13-11 by Thorfinn and Nick Armstrong. The home teams third pairing was Glen Hill and Phill Tait

Team captain Phill Tait was delighted to accept the Cup, which the Middlesex Tennis Association had brought to the ground earlier in the day. The team are now two matches away from an historic double as they currently head the league
