In perfect conditions for tennis Chiswick based Will to Win reached the final of The Middlesex Cup with a good 5-1 victory against Coles Green from north London.

Sometimes the match score doesn’t convey how close the game is and that was the case this Sunday when Will to Win secured two tie breaks in the second round to put team captain Kate Jude and Phill Tait in a position where their 6-4 6-2 victory was enough to take the spoils.

Special praise is due to Olivia Faber and Adam Gazzolii who recovered from losing the first set 6-1 against a strong pair to come back and deliver a good win.

The other happy Chiswick players were Penny Armstrong and Gavin Balance, and the team is now looking forward to the final on Sunday March 4th.
