Chiswick
Town Centre GroupA Town Centre Group has been established which brings together representatives from the Police, Council and Local Shopkeepers.
The group is to meet quarterly to discuss and progress it’s aims and objectives.
The initial meeting in October established the area of the Town centre, which was to be covered. It also covered the following issues;
- It was agreed to increase the circulation of The Chiswick Business Association with future input from the group.
- Two new officers had been recruited to patrol the Town Centre area
- A survey had been conducted to establish the concerns of the shopkeepers
- The battle against graffiti would continue
An initiative to have a CCTV system in Turnham Green Terrace would be supported and hopefully progressed.
