Veteran charity entrepreneur Charlotte Grobien is currently selling a home with a difference - because all profits from the property will be given by the vendor to local charities.

Some 12 years ago Charlotte set up the ‘Give it Away’ property development initiative, has since then raised some £1.7m through the redevelopment of residential properties around south and west London. It has all been given to local charities.

In her latest exercise, Charlotte purchased 10 Arnott Close, situated close to Chiswick High Road, in August 2016; the property has since then undergone significant refurbishment inside and out, including being extended into the roof space to include a third bedroom with en-suite bathroom.

Charlotte found the construction site manager after it came to light that she previously supplied his daughter with a complex motorised wheelchair via the Whizz-Kidz charity. The property is being sold through Winkworth who are believed to be charging the charity only a token amount for its work.

“I am delighted to be working with Winkworth on this who have been thoroughly engaged with the project from the start. They are keen to raise as much money as possible through the sale of Arnott Close and I am looking forward to seeing the outcome” she says.
