Stormzy, one of the UK’s top grime artists, has reportedly been spotted house hunting in Chiswick.

According to the Evening Standard’s Homes and Property section he has visited the Redrow development on the High Road. The singer, who is originally from Thornton Heath, won best Grime Act at the 2014 and 2015 MOBO Awards. He is a firm supporter of the Jeremy Corbyn who presented him with the Solo Artist of the Year award at the GQ Men of the Year Awards. He currently owns a flat in West Brompton.

The development at 500 Chiswick High Road includes 59 apartments, seven penthouses and five townhouses, all with private outdoor space. A concierge service and secure underground parking also add to the desirability of the development. Studios in the development were selling for£440,000 with the townhouses selling for a minimum of £2,650,000.

The apartments have been designed with a focus on clean lines and modern materials that have a high end contemporary edge. Oak veneer flooring, underfloor heating, stylish bathrooms and stone kitchen work surfaces all contribute to the overall design and feel of these homes. Ranging from 402 sq. ft. to 705 sq. ft., each apartment at the development offers generously sized, open plan living as well as private outdoor space, which overlooks a landscaped courtyard.

Simon Halfhide, Sales Director at Redrow, said, “500 Chiswick High Road has been extremely popular with both young professionals and first time buyers looking to combine stylish, modern living with the charm of Chiswick. In an area primarily dominated by period properties, these new build homes offer a great opportunity for first time buyers to purchase a property in the area that they want but at the right price, with the help of the Help to Buy Scheme."

It is also being reported that he has been spotted viewing a four-bedroom church conversion in Putney Park Avenue prices at £2,650,000.
