Annual Street Party to Return in 2014

Felicity J Lord has agreed to sponsor next year's Elmwood Road Neighbourhood Street Party, an annual free event hosted by St Michael's Church, which has the aim of making friends with all their neighbours.
The Chiswick branch of one of London's most dynamic estate agents, which is based at 277-279 Chiswick High Road, will support the hugely popular annual event on 14th June 2014.
This year's Street Party, which had a strong emphasis on community and sharing was opened jointly by actress Rula Lenska and MP Mary MacLeod and saw close to a 1,000 people spending the day taking part in a wide variety of activities – including live music, poetry recitals, plant and book stalls, an art exhibition by local artists, plus sumo wrestling for kids.
The 2014 Neighbourhood Street Party will also play host to The Big Brownie Birthday, a celebration of the Brownie's over the last 100 years at St Michael's Church. Local Brownie Guider Josie Hill is putting together a special exhibition on the day and is asking for contributions from past and present Chiswick Brownies. This could be anything from uniforms and badges to photographs and stories.
