Market remained active during May

The latest sales for properties in W4 published by the Land Registry suggest that turnover of local property continues to recover.
After hitting all-time low transaction levels in the first quarter there has been a marked pick up in the Spring and early Summer beyond the normal seasonal changes.
Volumes are still at a level at which it is difficult to reach conclusions about the current direction of prices but the average for the month was below £500,000 which points to property still being well off peak price levels.
