Amazing Giant LEGO® Brick Animals At WWT London Wetland Centre
Bringing families closer to nature

Wetlands Lego Animal Trail

Sat 3rd Oct - Sun 8th Nov
Queen Elizabeth’s Walk, Barnes, London, SW13 9WT

This autumn the world’s most popular toy will bring families closer to nature at WWT London Wetland Centre. Giant LEGO brick sculptures will be at the attraction in Barnes, London for five weeks from 3 October to 8 November, alongside some of their living counterparts.

The awesome models, which include a giant otter and a huge twelve-times life-size dragonfly, will form a trail for kids (and big kids) to inspire them to build a better future for nature.

Visitors will be able to enjoy the trail of nine individually-designed LEGO brick characters, some inspired by real species at London Wetland Centre. Included are a large North American River Otter, a Hawaiian Goose (or NeNe, the world’s rarest goose), a Red Breasted goose and a mallard. By following the trail to discover how many LEGO bricks have been used to make the animals visitors can also enter a competition to win their own LEGO kits.

David Green, General Manager, said “We’re really excited to welcome these brilliant sculptures to London Wetland Centre for the autumn. We know our visitors will love following the trail around the wetlands to find the LEGO brick animals, surrounded by real wildlife. Families love being around nature here and the LEGO brick trail is a fun way of putting the spotlight on some really important species, many of which are endangered.”

As well as following the trail visitors can pre-book workshops for an hour of creative fun and games at weekends and during half term. Create as many ducklings as you can in 10 minutes, take part in the great LEGO escape and you’ll get your own LEGO brick pumpkin to take home. The workshops can be pre-booked online at and cost £8.50 per person.

There is no extra cost to meet the giant LEGO brick animals at London Wetland Centre, the trail is included in the admission price.
