The 272 bus will travel on a revised route until 4th July due to road works taking place on Emlyn Road.

The bus will now carry on along Stamford Brook towards Shepherd's Bush Green and then along Goldhawk Road and Askew Road towards the Old Oak Road where it will rejoin the normal line of route. On the reverse route towards Chiswick the bus will divert at the Old Oak Road/Uxbridge Road junction down Askew Road and then along Goldhawk Road to Stamford Brook Road to resume the normal route at Bath Road.

Buses will serve all stops on diversion route.

The nearest alternative bus stops for this service are:

Towards Shepherd's Bush Green:
Bath Road at Abinger Road
Old Oak Road at Uxbridge Road - stop OG

Towards Chiswick (Grove Park):
Old Oak Road at Uxbridge Road - stop OB
Bath Road at Abinger Road

The roadworks on Emlyn Road are to remove rumble srips and to construct two more raised tables and two speed cushions. The work is scheduled to finish on 1st July.

Bus users have been critical about the lack of notice and publicity from TfL. We only became aware of the change when we were informed by site members and received no notification from TfL.
