The appearance of Lady Gaga may have proved just too good an opportunity not to capitalise on for one local landlord as the privately owned leasehold interest of The Raven pub was put up for sale this week.

Pub marketing company Christie + Co are expecting buyers to go gaga over the chance to acquire the leasehold of the pub recently made famous by playing host the controversial pop star.

Offers in the region of £65,000 are sought for the leasehold interest of the pub near Stamford Brook Tube Station boasting a restaurant with a kitchen currently sub-let to a local chef.

Christie + Co’s Daniel Arnold said: “This is an outstanding opportunity to acquire an established and popular pub which offers the potential to further develop footfall and meet international pop stars from time to time!”

Drinkers in The Raven were surprised and delighted last month to see Lady Gaga in their local complete with black bondage style dress and what can only be described as beer goggles. She chatted to locals and even serenaded a pair of newly weds during her visit to London to promote her new album Born This Way.
