The deadline for all entries is Wednesday 30 November 2011.

Boris Johnson said, "As anyone who loves poetry will testify, when you learn a good poem, you make a good friend. You have a voice that will pop up in your head, whenever you want it, and say something beautiful and consoling and true."

Team London is the Mayor’s plan to get more people volunteering in the capital in order to help tackle some of the city’s social issues. Under the Team London banner, Literacy Champions, delivered by the National Literacy Trust, aim to raise the literacy levels of children aged 3-5.
