Fifteen local artists with studios at Impress House in Vale Grove opposite Acton Park are opening their studios to the public on 18, 19 & 20 June. A wide variety of work will be on show, including painting, sculpture, photography and digital artwork.

Artist Julian Cooksey comments : “We want to let local people know that we are here in Acton, making art which is here to be seen and enjoyed. Local schools will be visiting and we hope to attract interest from other groups in the area. It’s not just a show, but a chance to meet the artists in the place where they make their art.”

There is a Private View, open to everybody, on the evening of Friday 18th June, from 6-9pm. The show is then open on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th June from 1-6pm.

The studios at Vale Grove are part of ACAVA, the Association for the Cultural Advancement of the Visual Arts, which runs studios and arts education activities throughout London.
