Time is running short for local residents to have their say over Heathrow expansion. The consultation closes on Thursday, 16th May.

As part of the final push before the closing date of the consultation, officers from Hounslow Council will be at three events this week, including two at Asda supermarkets in Hounslow and Feltham.

Councillor Colin Ellar, deputy leader and cabinet member for environment at Hounslow Council, said: “This is the biggest single issue effecting the borough and it’s vital residents make their voice heard over the expansion of Heathrow.

“If any Hounslow residents want more questionnaires, they can call the Heathrow hotline on 020 8583 2186 and we’ll send out a consultation booklet.  They can also contact us on Twitter (@LBofHounslow) or Facebook (www.facebook.com/hounslowcouncil) to request additional copies.”

The final three events will be at:

  • Asda in Hounslow Tuesday 14 May from 11am to 2pm
  • Beavers Library on Tuesday 14 May from 10am to 2pm
  • Asda  in Feltham on Wednesday 15 May from 11am to 2pm
