Nomination papers have been published for prospective candidates wanting to run in the local elections next month.

The local elections are being held on Thursday, 22 May, for all 60 seats on the council – three for each of the 20 wards in the borough.

A pack has also been produced to help candidates complete their nomination papers, and a code of conduct provides a useful guide to the acceptable behaviour at polling stations and in the run up to polling day.

Candidates will have from 9:00am on Monday, 14 April until 4:00pm on Thursday, 24 April to submit their nomination to the Returning Officer, Electoral Services Office, Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow, TW3 4DN.

Nomination papers must be delivered by hand to the Returning Officer and will be received by appointment in Interview Room 7 on Monday to Friday 9am to 4:15pm (excluding bank holidays), but no later than 4:00pm on Thursday 24 April.

Candidates are strongly encouraged to book an appointment to have their nomination pack informally checked before it is formally submitted.

For further help with nominations papers, please contact Cassie Triggs, Deputy Returning Officer, on cassie.triggs@hounslow.gov.uk or telephone 020 8583 2095.
