Brentford Old and New is the subject of the illustrated talk of the Hounslow and District History Society at the United Reformed Church Hall, Chapel Road, Hounslow on Tuesday 29th of April 2014 after the Annual General Meeting at 8pm.

The lecturer is Andrea Cameron, founder member of the Society and well-known local historian.

Miss Cameron will cover Brentford End, in the parish of All Saints, Isleworth, as well as New Brentford from Brentford Bridge to the Half Acre and originally in the parish of St. Mary, Hanwell.

The third area is Old Brentford, originally in the parish of St. Mary, Ealing. Brentford was a market town from the 13th Century, initially being held in the Market Place and then it became a fruit and vegetable market on the site of current Fountain Leisure Centre.
