French farce Boeing Boeing runs from 23 September – 1 October in the Judi Dench Playhouse at The Questors Theatre.

Boeing Boeing is in almost constant production around the world. It was first adapted and staged in London in 1962 and ran for a total of seven years. In 2007 the play was revived in London with future Oscar winner Mark Rylance playing Robert.

It’s Paris, 1969 and Bernard is a happy man. He's in love with a beautiful American air hostess called Gloria. And a beautiful Italian air hostess called Gabriella. And a beautiful German air hostess called Gretchen!

But there's no accounting for cancelled flights, schedule changes or new faster aircraft. Despite the efforts of his long-suffering housekeeper Bertha, Bernard's life goes from controlled arrivals and departures via a series of near-misses to a full-on plane crash!

The worldwide appeal of Boeing Boeing is reflected in the nationalities of this Questors cast, with English, Irish, Polish and Argentinian actors taking the six roles.

The cast is made up of married couple Rebecca and Gerard Collis, along with Eamon Goodfellow. Gerard is the playboy Bernard while Eamon plays the gauche but loveable Robert. Rebeccais the blonde bombshell Gloria. Argentinian native Samanta Fiorino plays Gabriella, while Justyna Wnek, originally from Poland, is Gretchen. Watching over the chaotic proceedings is Bernard’s long-suffering housekeeper Bertha, portrayed by Sunita Dugal.

Boeing-Boeing is suitable for ages 11+
