"Annie’s is a sweet and friendly local eatery in Chiswick, London, serving up a traditional breakfast with only the freshest produce and greedy portions fit for a king," said Sophie.

"Often frequented by the England rugby team, this is surely testament to the powerful punch of a fine Annie’s fry up. Be sure to order a Bloody Mary to fend off the hangover blues. Work off your breakfast with a walk along the glorious river Thames, which is just a stone's throw from Annie’s welcoming front door."

Full Monty English breakfast: £9.95.

The comment from the restaurant on news of the award was, "Whether you're a professional rugby player from down the road or wanting something, light, fresh & easy then we have the perfect breakfast for you. Why is it the best breakfast? Simple... We use good, fresh ingredients with large portions. Not only that but we recommend trying our delicious Bloody Mary's which will and do, cure any hangover!"

The restaurant is now a local institution being one of the longest established independent restaurants in W4 remaining popular because of its quirky style and warmth of welcome. in the same week it also won the Diners' Choice 2014 Award from Opentable.
