Many of us are avidly looking forward to the next couple of weeks in the UK tennis calendar and expecting some superb games at Queens and Wimbledon by the best players in the world. But have you ever wondered what it is like to actually play on grass court tennis?

Well now you can ... The CSLTC is opening its doors to the local community on an Open Day and invites people to experience our fantastic grass courts in a friendly and welcoming environment.  Bring your racquet as you will have the opportunity to join in two hours of FREE coaching from 2pm to 4pm.  To register interest please email CSLTC.membership@gmail.com

The Civil Service Tennis Club has a long history at Dukes Meadows, Chiswick, W4 2SH and is one of the best kept secrets of the tennis world.  With 17 grass courts, maintained to an incredibly high standard, it is not uncommon in the Summer months to see professional tennis players warming up for their stint at Wimbledon or Queens.

Originally for the use of Civil Servants only, there is now the opportunity for other public sector workers and people from the local community to play on this fantastic surface and the Club is having the Open Day on the 23rd June with a view to welcoming new members.

The only thing missing is the Strawberries and Cream!

When – Saturday 23 rd June 2012 from 1.45pm
